Drake's 3D Dog Mask Outfit Is For All the Dogs

Here’s a question we never thought we’d be asking: why is Drake wandering around New York wearing a Rottweiler mask?

Yes, Drake, who’s currently in the midst of his It's All a Blur tour with 21 Savage, was spotted leaving his NYC hotel on July 20 sporting a bizarre over-the-head dog mask as he headed to the Barclays Center.

Why? You’re guess is as good as ours. But perhaps it was a clever paparazzi decoy, or even a promotional stunt of sorts for his delayed forthcoming album For All The Dogs? Maybe dog accessories are just his thing now?

Drake paired the fairly large and semi-realistic Rottweiler head with a New York Yankees jersey, grey sweatpants, brown and currently unidentifiable sneakers (possibly a tease for a future NOCTA Nike sneaker), gold chains, and a drink in hand, as usual.

This inexplicable outfit came off the back of the release of his new “poetry book”, Titles Ruin Everything, which is essentially a series of mostly-blank pages fitted with would-be IG captions.

For All the Dogs was supposed to release in line with Drake's new book but thus far hasn't surfaced. At least it doesn't have its original awful title. Probably.

Earlier in the same week, Drake made headlines once more after apparently throwing shade at Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour with a video displaying an animated older woman with black shades evil-laughing during his show.

Styling a Rottweiler mask is a bizarre way to follow up recent proceedings, but each to their own we suppose. Maybe this will foretell a series of dog-related outfits or merch. How about OVO-branded harnesses? Doggy raincoats printed with Drake lyrics or, better yet, one-liners from his book?

But, if anything, should canine-inspired accessories be Drake’s thing from now on, perhaps he ought to consider switching his stage name, at least temporarily. Champagne Puppy, anyone?
